Thrilled to be ‘LCE’s Photographer Of The Year 2025’, Runner Up!

I was going to take a moment and write a well-worded post, but this is just ridiculous…FUCK YEAH!?! Absolutely over the moon to be a FINALIST and RUNNER-UP for ‘Photographer Of The Year’.

Not only that, my photo was right behind the absolute icon that is @gracroc. It felt like a full circle moment to be nominated (and share the page) with the photographer who helped me so much at the start.

So well deserved, as well as @shotbymartinaa as ‘Emerging Talent’! To be nominated next to such talent is surreal, can’t wait to share the pit with this lot.

There were 8 finalists in the ‘Music’ category, 3 of those made the exhibition, which apparently was like 1% of entries…lost for words, to see a photo I took in physical form was just stupid. It’s extremely rare I ever *properly* sit back and reflect on things, I’m always chasing the next thing, but I might need a moment.

For those who don’t know, over the last year (alongside marketing), I’ve been pursuing a photography portfolio. And to be recognised like this feels special!

The photo will be featured in a physical book and exhibited alongside other nominees in the LCE Gallery (ExCel, London) between 8-11 March.
