Effect: 2023 - 2025

Back in 2023, a very lost Charlie met with Natasha for coffee, and what was to be a freelance contract quickly led to a full-time role. And as of last week, after two incredible years, I wrapped up my time with Effect.

I've got nothing but positive things and fond memories of being part of this team, and somewhere I'd always wanted to work...or at least poke around the studio, seriously, it's f**king dope. Anyway, it's hard to put into words how much of an impact working somewhere like this has on your character, especially in your 20s.

Over the last couple of years, I stepped up as a Digital Account Manager, launched a wellbeing initiative, promoted a dog to CEO for April Fools (Eddie Evans), restructured our entire shared drive, delivered countless projects, launched Serpentine's new publication, became a Guinness-drinking stereotype, filmed too many TikToks, worked with SLT to formulate new processes, re-positioned our internal socials and had the pleasure of managing and nurturing 7 brilliant clients across various sectors.

All while growing a photography portfolio, running a music publication and running the race of experimentation we all feel at this age.

A personal shoutout to James, Natasha and Christian for cultivating an unbelievably supportive environment. And Zoe's constant kind words and understanding from day one. It's rare for a leadership team to encourage you to take a big leap, even if it means stepping away. ❤️

I was going to put together a carousel of work we’ve created, but what makes Effect so special is the everyday moments and the people behind them. So, instead, here’s a dump of memories.

More news to come very soon... 👀
